Resource Recovery Centre Operations Team Leader

About the Opportunity

This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Council’s four Resource Recovery Centres, including leading and supervising our enthusiastic staff, liaising with our logistics related contractors, ensuring site operations are compliant with relevant legislation and regulations and maintaining accurate data, records and information.

This role is a Permanent, full-time opportunity with a Fortnightly RDO. Remuneration begins at $78.9K to $89.3K (Band 5) plus superannuation.

About You

The ideal candidate will have proven experience is successfully managing customer focussed operational teams, well developed communication and administrative skills, experience in managing contractors, an inquisitive mind that values continuous process improvement and have some background experience in the waste and resource recovery industry.
